Apothecia: 1-3 mm in diameter with conspicuous membranaceous margin
Asci: 230-280 x 20-22 µm, 8-spored, spores uniseriate
Ascospores: globose, 15-18 µm (18-21 µm inclusive ornamentation), one oil droplet of 10-13 µm in diameter, ornamentation consisting of ridges 1(-1.5) µm wide and 1.5-3 µm high, forming a more or less regular reticulum with 3-4(-5) meshes/diameter, ridges often dottet
