Apothecia: about 1-1.5 mm in diameter, margin narraow fimbriate, hymenium orange
Asci: 200-250 x 15-20 µm, 8-spored, spores uniseriate
Ascospores: globose, 14-16 µm in diameter (inclusive ornamentation), ornamentation consisting of large variously shaped warts, these mostly bluntly pyramidal, 0.5-2 µm wide and up to 2.5 µm high; spore surface between the warts rugose
Hosts: Dicranodontium denudatum
Habitat: on rotten wood with Dicranodontium denudatum
