Apothecia: 1-2 mm in diameter with membranaceous margin, hymenium yellow to pale-orange
Asci: 200-250 x 17-20 µm, 8-spored, spores uniseriate
Ascospores: globose, 13-16 µm in diameter, ornamentation consisting of S-shaped ridges 0.5-1 µm wide and 0.5-1 µm high, attenuate at the ends, the relatively short ridges are irregular scattared across the spore surface and do not form a reticulum
Host: Bryum archangelicum
