Apothecia: 1-1.8(2.5) mm in diameter, first spherical, becoming saucer-shaped, finally thick and discoid, sessile, mostly with a low and narrow fimbriate margin, hymenium yellow-orange to light-orange, margin and outer surface paler
Asci: (169)200-370(420) x 16-24(28) µm, 8-spored, spores uniseriate, operculate, inamyloid
Paraphyses: filiform, same length as asci, upper cells containing many vacuoles with orange pigment, terminal cell 30-75(100) x 4-8 µm, lower cells 2-4 µm wide
Ascospores: hyalin, globose, (13)14-17 µm (inclusive ornamentation), with a large lipid drop 9-11 µm in diameter, ornamentation consisting of numerous, isolated, mostly hemisperical warts that are mostly (0.2)0.4-0.9 µm wide and 0.4-0.8 µm high, occasionally one to few bigger warts to 2 µm wide and to 1.6 µm high
Subhymenium: merged with the medullary excipulum, of textura angularis with hyaline and thin-walled hyphae, 140 µm thick
Ectal excipulum: of textura intricata up to 120 µm thick, margo of textura prismatica
Host: Campylopus pyriformis
Infection: inducing spercical galls on the rhizoids of the host
Distribution: Germany (NI), The Netherlands
