Apothecia: 1-2.5 mm in diameter, with conspicuous membranaceous margin, hymenium slightly convex, deep-orange
Paraphyses: thick walled and stiff, apically narrowed
Asci: 260-420 x 19-29 µm, 8-spored, spores uniseriate
Ascospores: broadly ellipsoid to subglobos, 18-22 x 16-19 µm, ornamentation consisting of isolated, warts with rounded or conical ends, 0.7-1.2/-1.5) µm broad and 0.7-1.2(-2) µm high
Host: probably a liverwort of the order Metzgeriales
Infectious structures: unknown
Habitat: apothecia growing on liverworts
Distribution: Argentina, Chile
