Apothecia: 1.5-2.5 mm in diameter, margin weakly pubescent, not membranaceous, hymenium orange
Asci: 160-250 x 12-22 µm, 4-spored, spores uni- to biseriate
Ascospores: narrowly ellipsoid to fusiform, (24-)30-34(-40) x (8-)9-12(-15) µm, in 4-spored asci 27-34 x 9-11 µm, smooth, mostly with four oil droplets two larger ones in the center and two smaller ones near the ends
Hosts: Bryum spp., Bryum rubens
Infectious structures: infects leafs, stems and rhizoid gemmae
Habitat: on soil, in open and dry habitats
Distribution: Germany (rare, BB, TH), Hungary (Nemeth 2021), Sweden (Isaksson 2022)
