Apothecia: 1-2 mm in diam, light orange
Paraphyses: straight or curved, content turning greenish in iodine
Asci: 8-spored, spores uniseriate
Ascospores: ellipsoid, 17-23.3 x 11-15 µm, with rounded, rarely fusiform ends, hyaline, smooth, containing one central lipid guttule
Host: Desmatodon latifolius (Hedw.) Brid.
Habitat: alpine sites, on soil in tufts of Desmatodon latifolius
Distribution: Austria
Note: An almost forgotten taxon which likely deserves recognition on species level.
