Apothecia: up to 1 mm in diameter, with inconspicuous membranaceous margin, hymenium pale orange
Asci: cylindric, 250-320 x 15-18 µm, 8-spored, spores uniseriate
Ascospores: subglobos, 13-18 x (13-)14-15(-16) µm, fine ridges forming an pseudoreticulum only visible with SEM, appearing smooth under the optical microscope, one oil droplet of 9-10 µm in diameter
Hosts: Bryum pseudotriquetrum
Infectious structures: infects the rhizoids
Habitat: at wet, base-rich sites, apothecia growing in the rhizoid-tomentum and the leaf axils of the host
Distribution: Norway
