Apothecia: 1-3 mm in diameter, hymenium brown-orange
Asci: 200-250 x 17-20(-24) µm, 8-spored, spores uniseriate
Ascospores: broadly ellipsoid to subglobose, 14-16 x 13-15 µm, ornamentation consisting of isolated, rounded warts
Host: Cratoneuron filicinum
Infectious structures: induces galls on the apical cell of rhizoids, the surface of the galls is completely coverd with thick-walled hyphae
Habitat: on mats of Cratoneuron filicinum, on wet, base-rich soil and stones
Distribution: Albania, Austria, Croatia, France, Slovakia, Spain
Notes: It belongs to section Wrightoideae.
