Apothecia: to 1.2 mm in diameter, with membranaceous margin appaering broadly dentate
Asci: 200 x 16-19 µm, 8-spored, spores uniseriate
Ascospores: broadly ellipsoid, 16-18 x (12.5-)13-14(-15) µm, ornamentation consisting of isolated, rounded warts
Host: Schwetschkeopsis fabronia
Infectious structures: induces galls on the apical cell of rhizoids, the surface of the galls is completely coverd with thick-walled hyphae
Habitat: apothecia growing directly on the host mosses which grow epiphytic on trees
Distribution: United States (Texas)
